Maximum Ride

Hey guys!

I wanted to tell you people to go check out this book if you haven't already.

It's called Maximum Ride and it's an awesome book full of adventure, action, thrills,

romance, and comedy. It's about a 14-year old girl named Maximum Ride (Max for short), she and her flock, consisting of six people, Fang, Iggy(I luv him :D), Nudge, Gazzy, and Angel. She and her flock are human-avian hybirds, which means they are 98% human and 2% avian(bird). They all have wings and can fly. The flock are constantly fighting against mutated human-wolf hybrids called Erasers(funny name, ya think). These "Erasers" are very dangerous and are trying to kill the flock. Max has been told to "Save the World" in the books. These books are amazing!! There are 5 in the series, but the 6th one is coming out next year. The manga, volume 1, has already came out!!(I bought it and finished it in like half and hour) The movie is also coming out in 2010!! Aren't we all excited?? So go check out the book already!!!!

I have a major problem. My friend has a crush on a guy. She is boy-crazy about him. She's keeps talking to him and whenever she's around my other friends and me, she keeps TALKING about him. My other friends and I are happy for her but they keep telling me that they're are so annoyed of my friend. I tried talking to her, but she keeps ignoring me and keeps talking about her crush. They've gone out three times, but now I am annoyed. Help me!!!

Dear Irritated Friend,
Friends can be boy-crazy sometimes. I know some of my classmates are(rolls eyes). If your boy-crazy friend is obsessed with him, try talking to her with some of your friends. I know sometimes it's hard, and your friend could have a hard time cooperating. Tell her your true feelings, that you're happy for her, that your friends are happy for her, and tell her she should sometimes focus on other things. You could try talking to another helpful friend, adult, or counselor. Remember that friendship is important and that you have to let your feelings out.
